We are now operating in Singapore as our APAC headquarters with aggressive plans to grow throughout the Asia Pacific region by hiring people focused on market entry and expansion.

The Role 

The Head of Strategy role will be a first hire for ofo as we approach our early stage expansion strategy. This role is the right opportunity for someone with market and analytical sense, who has helped grow and scale startups and organisations looking to grow fast. You will be working directly with the senior leadership in each country in Southeast Asia to craft ofo’s strategy across the region. You will be tasked to form a small and agile team to grow this function.

What you’ll do

Develop mid to long-term plans for expansion , foster strategic partnerships in our key markets in SE Asia, use strong analytical skills to optimize operation strategy, identify and improve business operations, supply chain, organizational design.

Act as a consultant for strategic initiatives within SE Asia

Execute operational improvement plans to deliver the strategic vision, Lead planning processes across cross functional teams to drive sustainability, Ensure alignement with priorities

Manage quality programs, develop communication plans, lead internal training programs supporting strategic implementations

What you'll need 

The right person will come with analytical go to market skills, possesses strategy experience in a startup environment or consulting / banking experience

Leadership skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively across Asian organizations

Experience working within ride-hailing, on-ground delivery or E-commerce industry in Asian countries highly preferred

MBA, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience with knowledge in data analytics with data visualization and presentations skills
